Daymaniyat Islands snorkelling and diving trips depart from Muscat throughout the year, but island access and camping change during the turtle nesting season. Review the seasonal differences before choosing your experience.
1 November–30 April
During this period, guests can enjoy snorkelling, scuba diving, permitted beach stops and seasonal overnight camping, subject to weather and sea conditions.
1 May–31 October
The islands remain protected for nesting turtles. Guests can snorkel, dive, swim from the boat and cruise around the reserve, but landing on the islands is not permitted.
Routes, snorkelling locations and departure decisions may change when conditions require it. Our team will contact booked guests when an operational update is necessary.

Yes. Our shared Daymaniyat Islands snorkelling tour is suitable for beginners. Snorkelling equipment and life jackets are provided, and the crew explains how to use the equipment before guests enter the water. Non-swimmers should inform the team before departure and must follow the crew’s safety instructions.
Sea turtles are commonly seen around the Daymaniyat Islands, but wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. The crew selects suitable snorkelling locations based on sea conditions, visibility and recent marine-life activity.
Shared snorkelling trips include boat transfers, snorkelling equipment, life jackets, sandwiches, drinks, snacks and island permits. Diving inclusions vary by experience. Towels and sunscreen are not provided, so please bring your own personal items.
Daymaniyat Islands snorkelling, diving, camping and private boat trips depart from Seeb Marina in Muscat. Guests receive the meeting-point details and final instructions before departure. The separate dolphin-watching experience departs from Bandar Rowdha Marina.
Island landing, beach stops and camping are available from 1 November until 30 April, subject to conditions. From 1 May until 31 October, the islands are protected for turtle nesting. During that period, guests may snorkel, dive, swim from the boat and cruise around the reserve, but island landing is not permitted.
A 30% deposit is required for snorkelling, camping and private trips. Scuba-diving bookings require a 50% deposit. The remaining balance is payable on the trip day. Card, Apple Pay and cash are accepted. Free cancellation is available up to 48 hours before departure.
